Dr. Chadi Tarek
Founder, Hospital Director & Senior Veterinary Surgeon
My passion for animals began at a very young age. When I was seven, I witnessed a foal in distress and tried to help save its life, an experience that left a lasting impression and set me on the path to becoming a veterinarian.
After graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, I founded Healthy Pet Clinic that same year, with a clear vision: to give pets in Lebanon access to advanced medicine, modern diagnostics, specialized surgery, and compassionate care in a welcoming environment. As the team, the facilities, and the range of care grew, the clinic became Healthy Pet Hospital, today one of Lebanon's leading veterinary hospitals, providing referral care for complex medical and surgical cases from across the country.
Beyond qualifications and experience, I believe the most important part of veterinary medicine is compassion. At Healthy Pet Hospital, we believe animals are family: every animal that enters our hospital is treated as if it were our own, and every decision is guided by the wellbeing of our patients and the trust their families place in us.

Dr. Simon Zghendy
DVM, Certified in Bird Medicine
With HPH since 2009
Dr. Simon performs the clinic's soft tissue surgeries and treats all cases related to dogs and cats. He is also one of the very few vets specialized in bird medicine.
Dr. Carine Tomko
DVM, Certified in Dermatology
With HPH since 2019
When a pet arrives in critical condition, Dr. Carine takes over. She runs intensive care for hospitalized patients and unravels complex skin cases.

Vaccines, check-ups, anesthesia: Dr. Martine covers the cases every pet goes through, and takes her turn on the 24/7 emergency line.
